A Heritage Rooted in Ghana
The story of Krismark is a bridge between two worlds. It began in Ghana, West Africa, where our founder and CEO, Isaac Kusi, grew up watching his mother’s tireless ambition as a cosmetics entrepreneur. Her passion for natural beauty wasn’t just a business — it was a blueprint.
“I remember seeing that ambition my mother had to sell her products,” Isaac recalls. “I thought it would be an honor to name my cosmetic line after her.”
In 1994, Krismark was born — not just as a company, but as a tribute to a mother’s legacy and a commitment to family heritage.
The American Dream Meets Innovation
In 1980, Isaac arrived in the United States in pursuit of opportunity and a better life for his children. With a background in marketing and banking, he brought strategic precision to the beauty industry.
After first introducing Shea Butter to the U.S. market in 1988, he later established Krismark’s own manufacturing facility in Woodridge, New York.
Krismark became:
- One of the first brands to spotlight Shea Butter as a hero ingredient
- The very first to introduce Red Palm Oil to the mainstream skincare market
We are proudly U.S.-based — with Ghanaian roots at our core.
